OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE
Band 6 £37,831 - £46,100 pro rata
Plus £1,279 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata

NHS Western Isles are seeking a part time (3 day per week) Occupational Health Nurse to work within a well established and supported team of 1 full time and 1 part time experienced Occupational Health Nurses.
You will undertake a health screening and advisory service for NHS Western Isles staff and a variety of external clients (GP Surgeries, Students, Opticians, Dentists and the Scottish Ambulance Service).
We have a service level agreement for Occupational Health Practitioner Services with SALUS Occupational Health , NHS Lanarkshire.
The successful applicant must have a degree in nursing and a specialist qualification in occupational health. Knowledge of Occupational Health procedures and related legislation is essential.
Applicants must have three years relevant Occupational Health experience within a large organisation and excellent communication and influencing skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in Occupational Health Services in NHS Scotland where there are a network of professionals to provide support and guidance and where you can positively influence the wellbeing of health colleagues. Opportunities for training and development will be made available.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme ( Protecting Vulnerable Groups Schemes). This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
