An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist Team Leader to work within the General Adult Psychiatry Acute In-patient Service.
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who will provide Occupational Therapy assessment & intervention for patients in the acute and rehabilitation inpatient service. In addition to leading and supporting an established occupational therapy team to further develop.
This post will be based within the Occupational Therapy GAP Service at Murray Royal Hospital in Perth.
The GAP Occupational Therapy In-patient Service provides excellent formal and informal supervision, actively supports development through performance development review and provides a framework for encouraging CPD and promoting Innovative Practice.
The post holder will build and develop their skills over a wide range of different client groups and they should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in working in this area.
The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and communicate effectively both orally and in writing is essential.
Being an approachable individual with an attitude to support excellent team working and growth of strong interpersonal relationships across the teams will be critical values and qualities to developing high performance to ensure the delivery of the best care experience possible.

Applicants must have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registration.
