An exciting opportunity has arisen within the colorectal cancer service at ARI. We are looking for an experienced nurse with appropriate skills and knowledge to join our Colorectal Oncology team as a band 6 clinical nurse specialist for 30 hours a week.
You would need to be a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate who has a focus on maintaining and achieving high quality patient care throughout the patient pathway; providing support to frontline clinicians and contributing to care that makes a real difference to the experience of patients and families.
You will have recent experience as a senior clinical nurse caring for people with cancer or colorectal conditions at all stage of the disease process with their families/ important others. Excellent communication and team working skills are essential to this post. Applicants will be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively manage a changing workload and will have responsibility for a specific caseload of patients. Candidates will be educated to Degree level with evidence of continuing professional development, in a relevant area.
