An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Child Health Occupational Therapy Service for recruitment of a full time (37.5hrs) Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our team which provides a three tiered model of service delivery including universal, targeted and specialist interventions to children and young people from birth to 18 years. As the post holder, you will work within an integrated acute AHP Team based within Tayside Children’s Hospital (Ninewells). The area of work is diverse covering a variety of specialism’s including Oncology, Rheumatology, Neurology, Major Trauma and Orthopaedics.


As part of this role you may provide an outreach service which will include working across NHST both within Education, Community and home settings. As part of your employment, we are dedicated to your career, learning and development.


Ninewells Hospital is a large teaching hospital set on the western edge of Dundee overlooking the Firth of Tay. Tayside Children’s hospital, is located within Ninewells hospital Dundee and is about to open a world class paediatric operating theatre suite which will double the current operating capacity and offer state of the art child friendly facilities.  


Dundee is a vibrant, upcoming city on the East coast of Scotland. Dundonians enjoy more hours of sunshine and more green spaces than any other Scottish city dwellers. 90% of Scotland’s population live within 90minutes of Dundee which has excellent road and rail links allowing ease of access to explore the stunning surrounding countryside and coastline.
