An opportunity has arisen to join our Finance Team which supports Research & Development services within TASC. We are looking for an accountant to work in conjunction with the Finance Manager, and other members of the Finance Team, who provide a service to TASC Management. You will help the Finance Manager to develop and implement finance strategies and processes, which support research activity and the requirements of the Scottish Government Health and Social Care Directorates.
You must be CCAB qualified, or be a passed finalist. You must have highly developed specialist analytical skills and be competent with Excel and reporting/query tools e.g. SAP BOXi. Ideally, you will have experience of providing complex financial reports to non-finance senior managers. A practical knowledge of NHS or public sector finance would also be advantageous while excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to achieve tight deadlines under pressure are essential.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
