NHS Highland Cardiology Department is undergoing a major expansion of clinical services and staff recruitment. To support these developments, the Cardiac Physiology service has been restructured and is looking for two enthusiastic and dynamic Principal Cardiac Physiologists to lead and manage its experienced and dedicated team.
The Invasive Lead will principally be responsible for day-to-day operational management of pacemaker, specialist ICD/CRT devices services and physiologist led loop implants as well as physiology support of the recently established 24/7 cath lab operation.
The Non-invasive Lead will principally be responsible for day-to-day operational management of the echocardiography service as well as overseeing other non-invasive physiology and support services
This is an ideal opportunity for forward thinking physiologists to take up these leadership roles and help shape the future of the Clinical Physiology Service in Highland. Your personal contribution to the clinical service provision and education program for existing and new staff will be tailored to your experience and interests.
You should hold BSc in Cardiac Physiology; although an equivalent qualification along with suitable knowledge training and experience may be acceptable. Registration with appropriate professional bodies is essential. Proven management, team leadership and service improvement experience is also desirable, although training and support could be provided to suitable candidates.
Relocation Package will be considered
