The Post: 

There is an opportunity to apply for a permanent role as a National Facilities Services Advisor working within the NHSScotland Assure, Health Facilities Scotland Team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the strategic development and delivery of national soft facilities services, and provide consistent, equitable specialist advice and guidance across a number of work programmes in order to meet the needs of the health service and population of Scotland.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have experience of senior management in the front-line delivery of facilities services in a healthcare setting, and specialist qualifications in facilities services. They will have a demonstrable understanding of key national initiatives, policy, guidance, and processes within the field.   

They will provide subject matter expertise to NHS Scotland Assure in relation to soft facilities services to support research programmes, service development, commissions and response as well as supporting the development of existing and new processes enabling NHS Scotland services to provide assurance and measure and demonstrate compliance with nationally agreed or mandated requirements.  

Location and Working Pattern:

Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow.

Currently hybrid working.

The work pattern for this post is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
