We are looking for the right person to provide strategic technical leadership as we realise our digital vision for Healthcare Improvement Scotland to be digitally empowered through systems that are resilient and safe, cloud based and which create a digitally connected information layer that informs our work (through automation) and our stakeholders (through digital networks).

This is an exciting time for an enthusiastic and positive individual to join Healthcare Improvement Scotland as we embark on the delivery of this ambitious programme of work.

Providing senior leadership and expert techical knowledge, the successful candidate will have corporate responsibililty for the provision and strategic development of digital and IT systems and services within Healthcare Improvement Scotland.

This includes all aspects of design, development, operation and managegment of Healthcare improvement Scotland’s digital systems and solutions.

We are looking for an engaging, authentic leader educated to degree level with an appropriate postgraduate qualification in an IT, business or other technical/management discipline, or equivalent. You should have a successful track record of leading large scale IT programmes and projects and a passion for using technology in an inclusive manner to drive improvement and business development.
