This is a Fixed term post for 23 months.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Older People’s Service based within the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (WoSCC) as a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist. This fixed-term post will incorporate the provision of both in-patient and out-patient based interventions.  The post holder will take responsibility for a complex clinical caseload incorporating patient assessment, treatment and discharge from care. They will work within multi-professional teams to ensure coordinated care for patients and will also be required to provide leadership, clinical supervision and support to staff and students. The post holder will lead the development and evaluation of this new Occupational Therapy service within the WoSCC Older People’s Service.  Internal secondments will require prior approval from line manager prior to applying.
