The Clinical Vaccination Manager has operational responsibility for providing clinical, managerial, and professional leadership for mass vaccination services and is accountable for the delivery and standards of care provided to patient, ensuring safe, effective, person-centred care.
To lead current services and the development of new service models to meet key National strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with staff, clinical and financial governance.
To work in collaboration with key stakeholders within NHS Lothian, Community Voluntary and Third Sector providers to ensure efficient, safe and effective services are provided to meet the needs of the vaccination programme.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
