The Post:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Northern Arch Collection Team in an Admin support role.
The Senior Donor Services Collection Support Officer role is to support the compilation and issue of staffing rosters for the North of Scotland Blood Collection Teams supporting the planning and maximisation of cost effective utilisation of staffing and skill mix to meet set staffing standards, taking account of training and any other operational requirements.
The Candidate:
Post-holder must have a flexible attitude and must be able to prioritise all workload ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.  Post-holder must also be able to deal with many challenging and competing deadlines efficiently and have excellent organisational skills.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, motivated, flexible individuals keen to undertake this interesting post.  Candidates must be educated to higher grade level or demonstrate equivalent experience.  We are seeking an individual with a customer focused approach, who is organised and adaptable.  You must also possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to multitask and be able to work under pressure.  A good to high working knowledge of Microsoft packages and good key board skills are essential.  Knowledge of Donor Services and current systems within SNBTS is essential.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme check. Any candidate who have lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
Location and Working Pattern:
The successful candidate will be based in one of three locations – Dundee Ninewells Hospital, Inverness Raigmore Hospital or Aberdeen Blood Donor Centre Foresterhill Road.
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
