An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Band 6 Physiotherapy Neurological Rehabilitation rotation across Forth Valley. The rotation covers In-patient Acute Stroke Team, ReACH Forth Valley, our area wide Community Specialist Neuro Rehab Team, the START Team which is Forth Valley’s Early Supported Discharge Team for stroke services and In-patient Specialist Neuro Rehabilitation services. Each rotation is supported by highly experienced senior staff who have developed a bespoke competency framework around this rotational programme.
We would welcome applications from physiotherapists who have a drive to provide high quality neuro rehabilitation to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. The successful candidate will be motivated to improve services, support staff wellbeing and have a strong collaborative approach to care.
Previous experience in a wide range of clinical areas with specific experience in neurological rehabilitations is required.
The successful candidate(s) will be HCPC registered as a physiotherapist and will be mobile across Forth Valley.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk
The post carries an on-call commitment. NHS Forth Valley is also embracing contemporary working. As and when required the post holder will be expected to participate in twilight or weekend working.
