PAEDIATRIC ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON

Applications are welcome for the above six months Fixed Term, part-time (32 hours per week) post based at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People
This fixed term post has arisen in the RHCYP Orthopaedic team in response to service requirements. Commitments of this post will be split between the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (RHCYP), Edinburgh, and St John’s Hospital Livingston with the greater level of service at RHCYP. The post is available from 01 August 2023. The post holder will join an established and experienced team of Paediatrics Orthopaedic doctors.
Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once CESR is awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
