Children’s Physiotherapist (Ref: 148010)
Substantive, Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Band 6 – Salary Range £37,831 - £46,100 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2256 per annum
Relocation Assistance of up to £8,000 is available
We are looking for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our small team providing physiotherapy to the children & young people of Shetland.
The post is based at the Gilbert Bain Hospital, and care is delivered from there to out-patients, and in schools & other community settings throughout the isles therefore a full current UK driving licence is essential for this post. You must also hold UK HCPC registration.
The caseload covers a wide range of conditions including MSK, neurodevelopmental, complex needs and rheumatology.
There will be lots of opportunity to gain clinical knowledge and skills in a supportive environment in a unique remote & rural setting.
There are excellent development opportunities and all team members are encouraged to participate in service improvement activity.
