This is an exciting opportunity to work with a very motivated, dynamic and forward thinking in-patient team in Lanarkshire.

The post holder will undertake care duties for patients in support of and delegated by the Registered Nurse, within a hospital or similar setting. Reports patient condition to registered staff.

The successful candidate must evidence;

  • Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer or work experience in a health, education or social environment.
  • Undertake on the job training and induction
  • Undertake mandatory HCSW standards
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Have ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology.
