An exciting opportunity has arisen for  Band 5 Staff Nurses to join the nursing team within Philorth ward –Fraserburgh hospital

Variety of hours available, can be negotiated with the successful applicants.

These are Permanent posts , comprising of 12 hour shifts rotating between day shift and night shift, including weekend and public holiday working.

Philorth  ward is based within Fraserburgh Hospital, it is a  20 bedded ward  caring for GP acute, Stroke specific rehabilitation  , general rehabilitation and Palliative/ End of life care.

The ward also carries out daycases as and when required.

We are looking for  enthusiastic, motivated, hard working individuals  with a genuine interest in this type of nursing to join our team.  You must have the ability to work in a busy clinical area that can have an unpredictable workload.  You must also be adaptable to the needs of a continually changing service.

The successful candidates  must demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be adaptable to developments within the service.  Cannulation and venepuncture skills and an up to date immediate life support qualification would be an advantage although training can be provided for the right candidate.
