Applications are invited for the above post, available from 5th February 2024 for a period of 6 or 12 months. Applications with a start date of 1st August 2024 will also be considered.
This post is aimed at senior trainees (post-FRCS) who wish to gain further experience in the subspecialty of Lower Limb Arthroplasty. The post will be based at the Elective Orthopaedic unit at Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen. You will be given ample opportunity to develop your surgical and clinical skills, as well as protected time for audit and research. Opportunities to gain experience with Robotic-Assisted Arthroplasty will also be available. The successful candidate will be expected to join the senior trainee tier of the Trauma on-call rota, based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
This post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training.
