​​​​​​​A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated registered nurse to become a member of the Acute Addiction Liaison Service within NHSGGC Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services (ADRS). The post has a citywide remit providing cover across all acute hospitals in Glasgow City.  Experience and understanding of drug /alcohol assessment and management is essential as is a compassionate person centered approach. You will be a key link between Acute Hospitals and wider care providers such as ADRS community services and Third Sector Services. Nurse line management and supervision is a fundamental part of the role in line with legislative frameworks, agreed standards and policies. You will be required to deliver training as part of an educational programme to help build on acute staffs’ knowledge and skills on alcohol and drug issues.
