Rotational Post – Covering Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, Western General Hospital and St Johns Hospital
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the NHS Lothian Hospital Palliative Care Teams. The team are looking for a CNS colleague for 37.5 hours per week who has the post registration experience and education to be clinically competent to assess, manage, deliver care, advise on, and support the care for people with palliative care needs within the Hospital setting as part of a supportive, progressive MDT.
The multidisciplinary team provide a Pan Lothian service with teams based in each of the 3 acute sites. This position will be a rotational post giving the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to work within 3 diverse services providing specialist palliative care for multiple different specialties.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
