The Breast Screening Service is looking for a Transport Officer (driver) to work occasional 3 hour shifts when required to provide cover for permanent staff during absences, sometimes at short notice, therefore applicants must be flexible and reliable
The post involves driving to and from our mobile screening units at locations throughout Tayside and NE Fife to set up / close down the units and to transport records and equipment from base at Ninewells. The postholder will also assist with the general maintenance of the screening unit – for example ensuring water/diesel levels etc are maintained, and assisting with the operation of the wheelchair lift when required.
The working hours of the post will normally be early morning (7-10 am) or occasional late afternoon (2.30-5.30pm) but different working patterns may be required to support specialist engineer visits, when mobile unit is moving location etc.

Fixed Term/ Secondment for 12 months
