Who We Are
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
What you'll do
We are looking for an Admin Officer to support and deliver data and quality management processes in line with the requirements of the NES quality work stream and General Medical Council (GMC) regulatory requirements. You will provide technical and administrative support using the data and quality management information systems to ensure accurate and timeous records and reports are produced and maintained, and by supporting colleagues and external staff with data and quality processes, preparing reports and answering information queries.
Key tasks will include:
Maintain accurate and up to date record management systems
Preparing responses to queries regarding the data stored within the system
Ensuring data shared with stakeholders is accurate
Provide information and advice on quality management, administration and procedures in line with GMC and NES standards
Provide administrative support to committees and meetings
Produce documentation to support the development of national processes together with robust audit strategies
What you'll bring
Your skills and experience should include:
An HND level qualification or equivalent
Significant administration experience
Advanced organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
