Locum Consultant Dermatologist - 1 year Fixed Term
We would like to welcome applications from enthusiastic individuals keen to join our dedicated Dermatology team in NHS Lanarkshire.
Through innovative models of care, we provide a high quality service, utilising phototriage to maintain urgent waits for skin cancer and severe dermatoses. Candidates seeking to develop an interest in Medical Dermatology will find a wealth of pathology available.
The department has a strong history of research with excellent support available and is linked to the West of Scotland registrar training scheme. Liaison with Glasgow allows for varied regional and local CME and governance programs, and links with Forth Valley and Ayrshire allow for regional innovations. The successful candidate will be encouraged to pursue a subspecialty interest.
Part time working would be welcomed. The post is offered as a full-time post on a 10 PA basis (including up to 2 non-DCC) but applications will be considered from those wishing to work less than full-time. If full-time, up to 2 EPA’s may be available to undertake additional clinical activity.
