NHS Tayside is looking for a General Practitioner(s) to undertake a 12 month fixed term post as GP Lead for Realistic Medicine

This is an exciting opportunity for a practicing General Practitioner who is looking for a new opportunity for personal leadership development through exposure to a complex change programme. They will join the leadership group for Realistic Medicine and provide vital input from community teams.

The post holder will ensure a focus on Realistic Medicine is maintained as strategies are developed in Primary care in Tayside. They will help the Realistic Medicine Oversight Group to understand the most impactful approaches that might be developed to suit the Primary Care environment.

The successful candidate will work flexibly and across NHS Tayside, meeting clinicians and teams, both in person and virtually. It will be important that they form strong relationships with other GP leads e.g. Cancer Care Lead, Referrals advisors etc.

The post attracts 1 clinical session and the hours can be flexible around clinical commitments
