This post is an exciting opportunity to work within the Children’s Investigation Unit at Tayside Children’s Hospital, Ninewells, caring for children and young people.
We invite individuals, who are keen to expand their skills and to work as part of our multi-disciplinary team. We seek an individual who would enjoy the challenge of working within a rapidly changing environment.
The Healthcare support worker will provide a high standard of care and support the MDT under the supervision of the registered nurse.
The post holder will provide admin and clinical support for the children and young people attending the unit.
To meet the challenges of this position the individual must have experience of working with children and their families and possess excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills.
An NNEB certificate or SVQ II / SVQ III are an essential.
We will offer the individual(s) a comprehensive orientation package, encompassing a training and education programme suitable to the needs of the individual.

Hours of work – 20.5 hours over 5 days - Monday – Friday between 0830-1800
