NHS Tayside is looking for a new Clinical Lead for Realistic Medicine to undertake a 12-month fixed term post.
This is an exciting opportunity for a practicing doctor who is looking for an opportunity for personal leadership development with exposure to a complex change programme. They will work as a team with a GP Lead and Programme Manager. The post is associated with the Improvement Team and the successful candidate will report to the Associate Medical Director for Quality Management.
NHS Tayside has taken an innovative, design led approach to RM and the post holder will be encouraged to maintain this approach with support and mentorship. This will continue to help the multiprofessional Realistic Medicine Oversight Group implement approaches that deliver on objectives set by the national RM policy team. The role will also provide the opportunity to exercise influencing skills so that operational strategy reflects the aims of RM.
The post holder will work flexibly and across NHS Tayside, meeting clinicians, teams, and other clinical leaders. It will be important that they form strong relationships with the local team, RM Clinical Leads in other Boards and the national RM policy team.
The post attracts 2 PAs and the hours can be flexible around clinical commitments
