An exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced Healthcare Support Workers to work within the Bignold Rehab and Step Down Ward, in Caithness General Hospital.

 

We are looking for candidates who are proactive and enthusiastic to join our existing team. As part of an integrated team, you will provide direct patient care and play a vital role in the rehab of our patients, helping them achieve independence and an optimum quality of life.

This innovative Band 4 role will support and enhance the practice of the multidisciplinary team including Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and the wider team, to deliver the therapeutic goals of people on our ward. You will be responsible for delivering person-centred care working closely with patients, their relatives and carers, volunteers as well as the professionals involved.

As a valued member of the team you will be supported by regular appraisals, a personal development plan, extensive training and development opportunities within NHS Highland. 


We currently have 2 full-time 37.5 hours available which will cover day/night shift on a rotational basis.
