The shift pattern for this position is Monday-Friday 8.30-4.30.
A full time permanent vacancy for a Band 6 Specialist Primary Care Mental Health Therapist has arisen within the South Wellbeing Primary Care Mental Health Service. The Wellbeing service offers evidence-based psychological interventions to people residing in the South of Glasgow City experiencing common mental health problems The successful applicant will deliver cognitive-behavioural interventions under the supervision of a Band 7 CBT therapist. These interventions will be delivered via a stepped care model and will be on an individual and group basis
It is essential that you have a core profession in nursing, occupational therapy or social work and have up to date registration with the relevant professional body. You should also have a certificate in CBT from a BABCP accredited course and have experience in Mental Health & in delivering CBT to people with mild to moderate mental health problems. The Wellbeing service is an innovative, evidence driven team and we would welcome applications from motivated individuals with a sound knowledge of NHS mental health services and an ability to work as part of an effective multi- disciplinary team.
