An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic nurse with strong leadership skills to provide strategic, clinical and professional nursing leadership across Care Homes in Forth Valley working collaboratively with a range of partners.

This post would suit a dynamic nursing professional with well developed leadership skills and an ability to work in a high profile changing environment. You will be able to demonstrate experience in continual improvement in the quality of care for residents and patients. Evidence of leading change and a commitment to developing others will be key qualities in this role.

The post demands a high level of knowledge and expertise within the Care Home setting and professional leadership abilities to lead and direct the processes of care home pathways and support in line with the National Healthcare Framework. A sound working knowledge of relevant legislation including The Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 is required.

Multidisciplinary working will be essential in the role working in partnership across the health and care system and within integrated health and social care services. There will be a requirement to provide direction and guidance on professional issues, relating to practice in a constantly changing and evolving care environment and supporting care home staff with the implementation of government policy and guidance.

This role may be subject to departmental development.
