Band 7 Occupational Therapy Team Lead
26.25 hrs - Permanent
Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead and develop the Occupational Therapy workforce in the Medical Day Hospitals, within Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership. The Medical Day Hospital provides a comprehensive multidisciplinary geriatric assessment and rehabilitation for people living with frailty. Occupational therapy is integral to the service, working closely with medical; nursing and physiotherapy colleagues. The post holder would have a designated base at one of the Day Hospitals, working with patients both within the Medical Day Hospital and the patient’s own home. The team aims to provide person-centred, safe and quality rehabilitation.
The post holder would be accountable to and supported by the Community Occupational Therapy Rehabilitation Manager, with regular supervision and learning opportunities.
