Supporting older adults [over 65 years] presenting with dementia / delirium in an acute hospital and ward setting. 
Supporting older adults experiencing mental distress.  
Supporting acute ward nursing, medical and AHP staff by offering advice and implementing strategies/techniques that will reduce stress and distress. 
Contact with carers/families to provide support if they are experiencing distress around the admission. 
Assisting the Rapid Response Team with mental health assessments of older adults.  
Assisting acute ward nursing, medical and AHP staff to assess the Mental Health needs of your patient and demonstrate the tools we use to do this with. 
Support acute ward nursing, medical and AHP staff with planning complex discharges and signpost Community Mental Health Services for follow-up of patient after discharge
