We are looking for a motivated proactive Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy service.  This post offers a varied case mix and includes the following rotations which are all based in Dumfries. 

  • Surgical including Critical Care
  • Acute Medicine
  • Trauma and Elective Orthopaedics
  • MSK Out-patients
  • Rehabilitation including Stroke Unit
  • Medicine of the Elderly
  • Community

This post is suitable for new graduates but if you are looking to develop your higher Band 5 skills this post would also be suitable for you.  You will be supported by experienced senior staff and will have the opportunity to develop both clinical and leadership skills.

Participation in the weekday and weekend evening on call rota is mandatory and flexible starting and finishing times would be an essential part of this role.  The post holder would be required to work flexibly over 7 days.  This will be discussed at interview.

The service offers a friendly and supportive working environment which actively supports Continuing Professional Development, through an established supervision, appraisal system (TURAS) and in-service training.
