Applications are invited for a LAT post in Rheumatology between 02/08/2023 and 01/08/2024 to cover a temporary vacancy generated by maternity leave.
Applicants should be ST4 equivalent or above grade. You will be based in Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, Dundee. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the General Internal Medicine on-call and Hospital at night rota.
The Rheumatology department in NHS Tayside is made up of 4 full time consultants and one Speciality Doctor.
In addition to general rheumatology clinics, there are sub-speciality clinics in SLE, systemic sclerosis, Vasculitis and Seronegative Spondyloarthropathy. A Fast Track GCA clinic with vascular ultrasound facilities has also been set up.
The department has a multi-disciplinary team of AHPs and a day case unit for biologics and other infusions. We have a team of 4 specialist nurses.
Full registration with a licence to practice with the GMC is required
