Locum Appointment for Training (LAT1) in General Medicine -
University Hospital Hairmyres
A Vacancy exists from August 2023 within General Medicine for a 12-month period.
A LAT appointment is recognised for training and the post will offer excellent experience in General Medicine. However, the decision to award training recognition to any given post has to be determined by the interview panel based on an assessment of the applicant’s experience.
The successful applicants will be expected to contribute to the General Medicine rota (full shift). NHS Lanarkshire is constantly reviewing its rotas to maintain New Deal compliance together with the new arrangements as set down by the Scottish Government and Scottish Medical Training (SMT). Rotas therefore, may be subject to change.
NHS Lanarkshire has excellent post-graduate libraries and IT facilities.
Applicants must be registered with or eligible for entry to the GMC with License to Practice at time of application. Your experience will demonstrate evidence that you have completed competencies equivalent to FHO2 level.
