Substantive, Part Time – 30 hours per week

Band 6 - Salary Range £37,831 - £46,100 per annum (pro-rata) plus

Distant Island Allowance of £2,256 per annum (pro rata)

Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 is available


This is an exciting opportunity to provide an Occupational Therapy service in a unique location with unique challenges. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join the Occupational Therapy team in the Gilbert Bain Hospital. You will work in partnership with the Multidisciplinary Team to support patients, on both the medical and surgical wards, to maximise their independence and work on rehabilitation goals to facilitate safe discharge.


You will be responsible for the supervision of other members of the hospital Occupational Therapy team and for service development.


HCPC registered, you will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy and have experience of working within an acute hospital setting.
