Clinical Skills Facilitator
Liberton Hospital/Astley Ainslie
Job Purpose
To plan, develop, deliver and evaluate a programme of work – based on Clinical Skills Education in Community hospitals including Hospital Based Complex Clinical Care (HBCCC), Intermediate Care (ICF) and specialised Rehabilitation settings. Role includes facilitating training activities throughout the allocated clinical management team, delivery of varied and integrated education solutions to meet patient safety, risk and quality improvement agendas to meet service improvement and the person centred agenda.
To work alongside staff, including newly registered staff, to support their learning and the achievement of competencies and to enhance the learning experience of student nurses on practice learning experiences.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
