We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Procurement Manager to join our senior Procurement team in NHS Lothian.
This post provides a great opportunity to work in public procurement and be part of NHS Lothian, one of the largest and most complex health providers in the UK, offering a range of health services to almost 1 million people across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Using your procurement skills, you will be responsible for embedding a category management approach to spend, interrogating data to identify areas of opportunity.
By engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs, providing expert procurement advice and tendering their requirements, you will deliver best value contracts.
Throughout contract life cycles, you will work with suppliers to maximise supply chain efficiencies.
You should hold a professional qualification (CIPS) or NVQ Level 4 in procurement or supply chain management and a MBA degree in a relevant subject or demonstrate equivalent experience.
This is a permanent position (37.5 hours per week), but we will also consider part-time applicants.
