​​​​​​​Candidates will work as part of a team assisting in the operations of the store which is the central receipt point within NHS Highland.   Activities will include a range of warehousing duties, customer service and general clerical tasks related to the processing of requests, receipt, issue, storage and dispatch & distribution of goods; however the majority of tasks will be warehouse / ward product management related.

It is essential that candidates have recent experience (within last 6 months) in a busy warehouse / ward product management environment, as is a good level of general fitness.  The post involves frequent daily physical effort in carrying out moving and handling of often heavy loads and you must be proficient with the use of moving and handling equipment such as a pallet truck.

Candidates will be well organised and highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to demonstrate an understanding of stock control principles and will have previous experience of stock inventory and e-Procurement systems.  You will have a good standard of basic education particularly literacy and numeracy and will be familiar with MS Office applications and e-mail. You will enjoy interacting with both staff and customers and have a helpful and supportive attitude.
