ALBYN MEDICAL PRACTICE
GP MATERNITY LOCUM
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring locum GP to join our team for 6 – 8 sessions per week to cover a period of maternity leave commencing July 2023 for up to one year.
Albyn Medical Practice is a well-established, forward thinking practice situated in the city centre of Aberdeen and serving a population of just under 11,000 patients. We are a teaching and training practice, committed to developing the doctors of the future in addition to supporting our current team.
We currently have 6 GP Partners and a Salaried GP, a full complement of Practice Nursing staff and a dedicated administrative support team. We also have in-house Pharmacy colleagues, a FC Physiotherapist, CTAC Healthcare Support Workers and a range of visiting specialists (Community Midwife, Psychological Therapist, Listening Service etc).
We have recently developed a clinical hub within our premises and this provides a bright, modern space, fully equipped with sit/stand desks where our clinical colleagues can work together to deliver high quality, triage/urgent care to our patient population in a supportive environment. We also offer pre-bookable F2F/telephone appointments and eConsult giving our patients the full range of options to access our service.
Salary and Terms & Conditions in line with BMA guidelines and commensurate with experience.
