An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Support Officers to join the NHS Forth Valley’s Operational Management team for Ambulatory Care, Diagnostics and Theatres.

We are looking for a Project Support Officers to join our Acute Services Team. Many of the projects within this team are still in their infancy and will therefore require someone who is self-driven, motivated and a great problem solver.

Applicants should have demonstratable experience of


  • Communication and collaborating with a variety of operational and professional stake holders
  • IT skills, with proficiency across  Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Teams)
  • Waiting list management, using a variety of digital platforms to monitor activity and queues
  • Using basic improvement methodology and tools
  • Project Management knowledge and skills


There will be an expectation for post holders to also provide support to other programmes of work within the wider team. There is therefore lots of peer support and opportunities to gain exposure to different services and healthcare contexts.  Education and training are promoted.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
