We have an opportunity as a Senior Recruitment Advisor within our Recruitment Service team which is responsible for ensuring an uninterrupted supply of health care staff . Our service is a very busy environment and relies heavily on team work with colleagues in the Recruitment Service as well as building strong relationships with our hiring managers.

The post is part time hours 18.75 per week and the role is office based at West Glasgow ACH primarily Monday – Friday core hours.

Dealing with multiple enquiries and challenging deadlines the key focus of the role is to deliver a comprehensive recruitment administration service which includes completing high volumes of pre-employment checks to on board new starts across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s services and departments.

There are also duties for ensuring the issue, tracking and monitoring of recruitment / employment contract  documents and at the same time manage a high volume of direct enquiries and information requests from job applicants both internal and external to NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Typical duties will vary daily but can include supporting vacancy approval systems, arranging interviews, pre-employment check administration and issue terms and conditions. 

There are also duties linking to our UK Immigration & Visa systems processes , new start payroll administration and providing some administrative support to our staff redeployment function .   

Whilst experience of HR /Recruitment services is preferable the role of Senior Recruitment Advisor will appeal to someone with experience of working in a high volume and complex NHS service environment or equivalent delivering to multistranded work tasks on a daily basis.

This is a customer focused role and requires the post holder to provide a responsive, friendly, courteous and first point of contact service to those seeking employment with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.   The successful applicant will also have excellent administrative and IT skills in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and be able to evidence confidence in their ability to learn new systems. Previous experience of NHS HR Systems would be advantageous.
