This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
To plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate teaching and training and to facilitate training activities throughout the District Nursing (DN) service. This will entail taking a key role in leading and developing education across District Nursing within EHSCP. Planning and delivery of varied education solutions to meet the patient safety, risk, and quality improvement agendas, in addition to education solutions to meet service improvement and the person-centred agenda.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of expert advice and support in relation to education and learning, whilst implementing and evaluating evidence-based standards, guidelines and policies key to education. It is expected that the post holder will be flexible and work across professional and team boundaries when necessary, including working in various bases across the city.
