An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Registered General Nurse, with current NMC registration, who will lead the team in our Combined Assessment Unit within Emergency Services.

The unit is responsible for acutely unwell adult patients from multiple specialties who require clinical triage, assessment and complex treatment plans. CAU also has a rapidly developing Rapid Assessment and Care Unit which aims to provide senior clinical decision making to support same day emergency treatment and provision of services and an Ambulatory Care Unit, this post offers a varied and challenging prospect. 

You will have current post registration experience in an acute nursing environment with experience in acute receiving desirable. You will possess excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to lead and develop the nursing team.  You will be able to demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development and a commitment to quality improvement and be able to thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment.

Hours: 37.5 per week.
