A vacancy has arisen for an experienced candidate who will provide a professional, proactive and effective project administration service to various teams and managers within the Public Health Department. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly across all work areas but with specific responsibility for supporting the screening programmes.
You should possess an HNC in a relevant discipline or equivalent administrative experience. Minute taking experience is essential and the post holder must have detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. You will have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales. You should be a conscientious, flexible individual with a can-do approach who can work as part of a team and also on their own initiative. Experience of working within an NHS environment is desirable.
This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity until 31/03/2024.
A hybrid model of working will be supported.
The post will be based at Afton House, Ailsa Hospital, Ayr, however will provide cover one day a week (Wednesday) for the Diabetic Eye Screening Team based at Ayrshire Central Hospital. Training will provided.
