Morlich Ward is a 12 bedded mixed sex ward providing assessment and treatment for older people who are experiencing an acute episode of mental ill health. We are based in the grounds of New Craigs Hospital in Inverness – the capitol of the Highlands – in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Within easy reach of both the mountains and the coast.
You would be working as part of a highly motivated and encouraging team, who adopt a person centred approach to care, always aiming for a positive patient experience of admission. We work together to make an inpatient admission as positive an experience for patients, their families and their carers.
The successful candidate will be motivated, demonstrate a commitment towards the continued development of patient focused care whilst fostering a therapeutic ward environment. This position would suit a conscientious, kind, enthusiastic and motivated individual.
Previous experience in a care setting is desirable as this is a busy and physically demanding post. We require someone who can work well within a team and has a calm and friendly nature.
