Due to retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as Clinical Specialist within the Cleft Lip and Palate service. Clinical work will be based in Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital (RACH) with some outreach clinic work required. The post holder will lead a distinct service within NHS Grampian supporting colleagues within Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. The post holder will work closely with the wider Cleft team and contribute to work within Cleft Care Scotland and The National Managed Clinical Network.
Within the Department of Speech and Language Therapy in Combined Child Health, we are committed to staff development through regular meetings, supervision and ongoing support and training. As RACH is a teaching hospital and has a wide range of specialist services (some covering the whole of the North of Scotland), we offer excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.
It is hoped that interviews will take place around 20th/21st July 2023 but will be confirmed when interviews are sent out. Commencement of the post is hoped to be from mid-October 2023.
