Assisting the trained members of staff the post holder will be responsible for assisting patients through the haematology outpatient clinic. The post holder will assist/participate with clinical procedures such as venepuncture, routine clinical observations. There is also elements of computer work in terms of referrals etc and all necessary training will be provided. A friendly personality and the ability to work independently are crucial.
The haematology clinic provides outpatient care and treatment for people with blood disorders of many kinds.
Hours of work will be from 9am -2pm on Mon, Tues and Thursday
