As a Community Addictions Psychiatric Staff Nurse you will be based with the North Ayrshire Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service (NADARS) at Caley Court Resource Centre in Stevenston. This is a multidisciplinary integrated service of both health and social care staff.
You will be RMN qualified and must possess a full driving licence. You will have experience in supporting people with alcohol and drug problems and display a positive attitude towards enhancing an individual’s recovery journey. You should also have a willingness to engage in training opportunities to enhance your knowledge base and promote continuing professional development. Experience of working in a related community setting is desirable.
You will also promote and enhance the already established peer recovery networks across North Ayrshire and enhance links with both voluntary and statutory agencies to provide comprehensive, integrated recovery pathways.
