An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Registered Mental Health Charge Nurse to Join East CMHT.
The purpose of this role is to deliver community based mental health nursing care to individuals in the East Ayrshire area, who require assessment and treatment for a range of mental health difficulties.
You will be able to demonstrate a high level of communication skills and be able to work well within a multi-disciplinary team. You will also have the ability to work as a confident and competent autonomous practitioner.
You must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge base and a confident ability to make clinical decisions. Experience and understanding of assessing and managing Risk are vital to the post.
You will be able to demonstrate current thinking in relation to mental health care in an ever changing society.
This is a fixed-term/secondment opportunity for 12 months.
A car owner/driver is essential to the post. Agile and Home working are essential components of the role in the current and future vision for mental health services in East Ayrshire.
Hours: 22.5 per week.
Venepuncture skills are preferred, however not essential as full training will be arranged for the successful candidate.
You will possess Registered Mental Nurse qualification and currently be registered with the NMC. Applicants require to be educated to a minimum of degree level/or demonstrate relevant clinical experience.
