Post: SENIOR FELLOW in paediatric cardiAC SURGERY
Base: ROYAL HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN GLASGOW
This senior fellow post in paediatric cardiac surgery is based solely at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow and is ideal for a cardiac surgeon with experience wishing to advance their congenital cardiac surgical practice.
The post is not a West of Scotland Region Scottish Deanery rotation and not recognised for specialty training leading to CCT in the UK. However, the post is designed to give extensive hands-on operative experience appropriate to the post-holder's clinical experience under the close mentorship of the established consultant surgical team.
Active participation in the unit educational program and weekly clinical meetings is expected. On-call commitments are based at the Royal Hospital for Children. The Hospital
