This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Professional / Project Manager with a strong Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) background. You will be expected to understand the technical controls, procedures, and service quality standards required to effectively maintain a robust and resilient IT service.
You will coordinate a significant ITIL process improvement programme and transition from v3 to v4, ensuring that NHS Fife achieves and maintains the SLAs and KPIs of digital availability, capacity and performance demanded by a modern Health Board. You will help design and organise the processes that the resolver team’s use for day-to-day operations and the wider IT service delivery pipeline. The senior leadership team is very keen to complete this programme of work successfully, therefore you can rely upon the required level of support required to bring the department along on this journey.
You will be a team player with excellent work ethic, communication, and organisational skills. You will have the knowledge skills and competencies; typically gathered during the performance of a similar role or be a developing IT professional with demonstrable aptitude for this post. You will also have a very keen interest of IT continuous improvement and be willing to develop professional networking with colleagues nationally (Scotland). The Implementation Manager is an integral part of the IT Management Team within IT Digital Operations. Full ITIL v4 training will be given along with the chance to obtain the accreditations. This fixed term post can be considered for a secondment opportunity for an appropriately qualified employee with NHS Scotland.
You must be able to travel throughout Fife regularly and within Scotland as required.
A high level of English language competency and communication skills is necessary to perform this role safely and effectively.
